Dr José Antonio León Borges

Title: Cluster analysis of Hidrocarbon pollution in underwater sinkholes of Quintana Roo. (Análisis por agrupamiento de la contaminación por hidrocarburos en los cenotes de Quintana Roo.)


Degree in Computing and Systems, specialist in database modeling and design, Master in Computer Science and Doctor in Computer Systems. His teaching work began in 2009. He was a collaborator in the project Conacyt FOMIX 95656 "Software System to Reinforce the Teaching Process Learning in the Area of Geometry for the Basic Level in the State of Veracruz" as a developer in 2011. Having results articles in magazines and of diffusion, as well as a Program of Computing in Public Registry of Rights of Author called "Virtual Museum of Geometry".

He is currently Professor-Researcher and Coordinator of the Educational Program in Network Engineering at the University of Quintana Roo Unidad Académica Cancún. His current research is on the analysis by grouping and classification of cenotes contaminated by Hydrocarbons in the State of Quintana Roo (Cancun, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Tulum, Bacalar, Chetumal and Holbox) in a multidisciplinary way with Dr. Biotechnology Manuel Lizardi.

His areas of interest are: Development of Educational Software and Soft Computing with influence in Data Mining.
