Raymundo Bojorquez

Title: Smart metering for Connected Cities


Raymundo Bojorquez is a Senior Hardware Supervisor for the engineering, technology research and development area of Honeywell, a global software-industrial company. He is based at the R&D Center in Mexico City, where he currently leads the electronic design, certification and verification groups. His main responsibility is driving the electronic design projects developed for the Latin-American market.

Raymundo holds a Master degree in Electronic Systems and has 15 years of experience in development roles, including Product Design, Product Assurance and Hardware Design for the automotive and energy segments.


Information collection through hardware and its conversion to digital data can be used to monitor different variables. IoT solutions such as smart meters allow us to analyze power consumption remotely, aiming to make informed decisions, optimize energy use and even predict consumption patterns.
